Alan Tam makes a quick visit to Andy Lau
23 Jan - Singer Alan Tam was one of the few people who were able to visit Andy Lau in hospital, following his recent accident during filming in Bangkok.
According to Phoenix, the singer, who flew from Macau to meet with Andy on 22 January, revealed to the media waiting at the hospital that it wasn't easy for him to go and see the actor due to the tight security.
"But he and I were working on a song together [before the accident], and there was something that I had to discuss with him," he said.
When asked about Andy's condition, Alan shared that the actor is still bed-ridden, although he is in good spirits.
The singer also conveyed Andy's wish for relatives and friends to not bother to visit him for now since he is still not in the condition to receive any guests.
"This is because it still hurts for him to talk or react to anything. But he is in good spirit. There is nothing for us to worry about," said Alan.
Alan added that he originally wanted to stay a bit longer and keep Andy company, but since the actor cannot talk without experiencing pain, he decided that it would be best not to disturb him.
