If you're a fan of astrology and also enjoy a good G&T (who doesn't?!), then you're in for a treat as supermarket Aldi is now combining your two loves in a new star sign-inspired gin range!

Launching in stores and online on 6 August, the four new gins make up the The Elements by Haysmith’s range and are based upon the four elements: earth, water, air and fire.

The astrological elements, which are determined by your star sign, all have unique qualities and it's these qualities that have inspired the new range, with alcohol and alcohol-free options.

For the Earth signs - Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn - the Earth gin is described as "an old faithful", reliable like those who identify with the element. Darjeeling tea and citrus undertones make this a classic gin best served with ice, tonic and a twist of lemon peel.

For the Water signs - Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio - or anyone who enjoys an alcohol-free tipple, the Water gin is described as calm and collected but with "an explosion of lemongrass, ginger and citrus," according to Aldi. Best served with lemonade, citrus peel and lots of ice for a refreshing summer sip.

For the Fire signs among us - Aries, Sagittarius and Leo - the Fire gin really goes live up to the name. "The heat of chilli intertwined with the perfume of the pink Szechuan peppercorns will tantalise tastebuds and leave people wanting more," according to Aldi. Not one for the fainthearted, that's for sure!

And lastly, the Air signs - Aquarius, Gemini and Libra - can get their hands on a refreshing gin with savoury flavours including dulce seaweed and sea buckthorn.

While of course you can pick up any of these gins, it is fun to try one based upon your element.

The Earth, Fire and Air gins will cost £14.99, while the non-alcoholic Water gin will cost £9.99.
