Alison Brie tagged for Netflix wrestling show 'GLOW'

The "Mad Men" and "Community" actress will lead original series "G.L.O.W.," inspired by a 1980s women's wrestling league of the same name.

Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling was a televized entertainment wrestling show that aired for four years from 1986 to 1990 and Alison Brie will star in a new, fictional series about life as one of the league's hopefuls.

Ten episodes are expected, though a date has not yet been set, while Netflix acquired "G.L.O.W." in May 2016, Variety recalls.

Brie already appears in the Netflix animated series "BoJack Horseman."
