Android apps now available for BlackBerry 10 phones

BlackBerry announced Thursday that its latest software update, BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.3.1 will now present the Amazon Appstore, making it possible for users to download Android apps.

The BlackBerry World storefront will still be available, and new enhancements to the software include battery-boosting technology, plus camera, calendar and multimedia improvements.

Messaging by means of BlackBerry Blend lets you access multiple means of communication (email, SMS, BlackBerry Messenger messages, etc) in one place and sync them across devices.

Blackberry Assistant incorporates voice and text commands to help you manage your schedule for work and personal life including email, contacts, calendar and other apps from BlackBerry.
