Andy Smith and Diana Zubiri welcome baby
23 Aug - Actress Diana Zubiri and husband Andy Smith finally confirmed, a week after childbirth, that they have welcomed their first baby.
The couple shared the news on Instagram over the weekend with a photo of their daughter, named Aliyah Rose.
"Welcoming our beautiful baby girl [Aliyah Rose Smith] to the world born August 14 at 11.36am at a healthy 8lbs. I'm so glad to finally hold you in my arms and I will give you my unconditional love everyday," wrote Smith.
He continued, "To my wife [Diana Zubiri Smith] I want to thank you for your incredible strength throughout the pregnancy until the delivery. You did an amazing job and words can not describe how happy I am for us and our family. I'm praying to God for good health and a prosperous future."
The actress also posted a photo of a flower gift from model Rene Rose McHugh and husband, and wrote, "Last Sunday I gave birth to Aliyah. Time flies."
Zubiri and Smith got married back in May last year, and confirmed the pregnancy in April this year.
