Angry barracuda flashes teeth at diver

The great barracuda can reach 6 feet in length and are the top predators of many reefs. They often lie in wait, ready to ambush their prey, as this one seems to be doing. They are territorial and will open their mouths to issue a warning. This display reveals teeth that are as large and even more sharp than a big dog's teeth. Barracuda are often curious about divers and will follow them, but this behavior tells a diver that it is time to keep their distance!
