'The Beach Boys' announce twin UK concert shows for 2017

Iconic 1960s American rock band "The Beach Boys" have confirmed they will play a pair of shows in London next year, albeit without Brian Wilson and Al Jardine, who last played with The Beach Boys in 2012 (via NME).

The shows -- so far scheduled to be their only UK concerts in 2017 -- will kick off at London's Royal Albert Hall on May 18, with another show the following day (May 19).

The current line-up features singer Mike Love and original singer Bruce Johnston, alongside "supporting musicians" John Cowsill, Tim Bonhomme, Randell Kirsch, Scott Totten and Love's son Christian Love.

The news ties in with the recent 50th anniversary of the band's classic single "Good Vibrations," and follows the release of an autobiography, also entitled "Good Vibrations," which was published by Love earlier this year.
