Bela Padilla believes she got role in "Miracle" for a reason
16 Dec – Although she was the second choice to play the role of Yesha in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry, "Miracle in Cell No. 7", Bela Padilla believes that the project landed on her lap her for a reason.
As reported on Pika Daily, the actress, who spoke about replacing Nadine Lustre - who was originally cast to play the said role in the remake of the hit Korean movie, stated that she is a firm believer of "good timing", and that it doesn't bother her whether she is the first choice or the second.
"There were also instances where I have projects that I would like to do but went to others, or projects that came to me unexpectedly. I would like to believe that it's Divine Providence, that it fell into my lap for a reason," she said.
Saying that it was meant to be, Padilla added that she is thankful that everything just fell into place.
Aside from Padilla, child actress Xia Vigor is also involved in the movie, playing the young version of the said character, who is determined to prove her mentally-challenged father has been wrongfully imprisoned for murder.
The upcoming movie will be released on 25 December.
