Benedict Cumberbatch turned down 'Ab Fab' cameo
Benedict Cumberbatch reportedly passed up on the opportunity to star in the new "Absolutely Fabulous" movie.
According to the film's co-creator Jennifer Saunders, the UK actor declined a cameo role in the project, NME reports.
Plenty of other stars, however, were lining up to appear in the comedy, which will see appearances from Rebel Wilson, Joan Collins, Alexa Chung, Kate Moss, Lulu, Jerry Hall, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Nick Grimshaw and Jeremy Paxman, among others.
The film version of the popular British TV sitcom hits UK cinemas on July 1 and North American cinemas July 22.
