Munger (Bihar) [India], October 10 (ANI): Amid the reports of a strained relationship between Tej Pratap Yadav and his younger brother Tejashwi Yadav, Sanjay Kumar Yadav, a candidate who filed nomination as an independent candidate from Tarapur officially joined RJD on Saturday in the presence of the Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav.

"Sanjay Kumar, who had filed nomination as an independent candidate in Tarapur assembly by-election, today in support of RJD candidature joined RJD in the presence of honorable Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav," RJD tweeted.

Sanjay Kumar Yadav, who had filed nomination as an independent candidate from Tarapur constituency of Munger district claimed earlier that he is backed by the RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav. RJD has already announced the name of Arun Kumar Saah as its candidate for the Tarapur seat.
