BJP brought positive change in lives of sugarcane farmers by reopening closed mills: UP CM

Lucknow (UP), Sep 26 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended KisanSammelan in Lucknow on September 26. While addressing the gathering he said, “21 sugar mills were shut down during BSP regime and11 were closed during the rule of Samajwadi Party. When we came to power, we restarted the closed mill and brought a positive change in the lives of sugarcane farmers.During COVID pandemic, the sugar industry came to a grinding halt in Brazil which is the biggest sugar producer in the world. More than half of the sugar mills in Maharashtra and some mills in Karnataka were also closed down but UP Govt ran all 119 mills”.
