BMW Asia will be hosting BMW World 2014 Stories in Motion, the single largest automotive showcase in Asia, with over 60 BMW and MINI vehicles and concept cars on display. To be held at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre from 1st to 3rd August, the event will reveal captivating stories of BMW and MINI in the areas of innovation, design and luxury. It will also mark the official Singapore launch of the BMW i sub-brand, alongside the BMW i3 (purpose-designed premium electric vehicle) and the ground-breaking BMW i8 plug-in hybrid sports car. Notably, the MINI Clubman Concept and MINI John Cooper Works Concept will also be making their Asian debut.

Visitors will embark on a journey through BMW’s illustrious past and discover how their most famous cars have evolved over the years. Learn about the vision behind the revolutionary BMW i8, why renowned world traveller Benka Pulko called the BMW F650 her ‘Red boyfriend’, where the first sketch of a MINI was made and other fascinating tales that document the evolution of BMW

The BMW World 2014 exhibition will also play host to the Future of Mobility International Conference, a high-level meeting jointly presented by BMW Group Asia and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) where journalists, government representatives and industry experts will meet to discuss electric mobility and future trends in the field.
The event is not just about cars – there’s something for everyone at BMW World 2014, even kids. Besides the BMW automobile showcase, visitors can expect to see the latest range of Motorrad Bikes, witness an exhilarating BMW Cruise Bike show by mountain bike and street trials stunt rider Dominik Raab, and even test ride the latest BMW bicycles at the Bike Experience trail. Families with kids can keep their little ones entertained at the Kids World where there will be colouring contests, a road safety park zone and the first Baby Racer Contest in which the two fastest babies will win a BMW/MINI Baby Racer worth $175.
