Shields also recalled Bratt sheathing his penis in a "modesty sock" while they were shooting "Mother of the Bride."

She might be the Mother of the Bride in her new Netflix movie, but Brooke Shields also brought Big Mother energy to the set when she comforted a nearly nude Benjamin Bratt during a particularly revealing part in the rom-com.

The actress recalled the sweet, intimate moment during her Friday interview on The View, saying it occurred in a scene that required Bratt to wear a "modesty sock" over his penis as his only wardrobe item.

"They have these things called modesty socks, which, for a woman it's a modesty triangle and they tape it to you, just where the camera's going to go. For the poor guy, they don't tape — they just have a little sheath," Shields said, using her hands to mimic the act of putting it on.

"Let's maybe not use our hands, ladies," cohost Sara Haines said, laughing as Ana Navarro pushed the inquiry further: "I want to know all about the socks. Do the socks come in different sizes?"

Shields admitted that she had "such empathy" for Bratt because "he was vulnerable" in the sock, which prompted her to meet him in the middle.

"They had to reverse and do my side, and I was like, 'God, I feel like this is so unfair,'" she said. "As a surprise to him, I taped my boobs with those sticky-tape things, and I turned around and dropped my dress just so he didn't feel like he was the only one."

Mother of the Bride stars Shields as Lana, who is preparing to attend a wedding between her daughter, Emma (Miranda Cosgrove), and the son (Chad Michael Murray) of Bratt's character, who broke her heart years ago. The film premieres May 9 on Netflix.
