Call of Duty website supports Ghosts rumor

An update to the official Call of Duty website lends credence to the rumors that an imminent unveiling is due for a "Call of Duty: Ghosts."

A YouTube video containing info from a behind-the-scenes source, three separate retailer listings, and promotional material said to hail from GameStop together suggest that "Call of Duty: Ghosts" will be released early November on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U.

Now franchise teaser site callofduty.com/ has launched, with visitors' Facebook and Twitter profile pictures transformed into part of a composite image.

The six dashes in the website's address match the number of letters in "Ghosts," while the image of a mask corresponds to that of franchise favorite Lt. Simon "Ghost" Riley.

Material obtained by IGN implies that an official "Call of Duty" reveal will be taking place on May 1.
