To celebrate its upcoming release on Thursday (21 March), Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will be hosting the 'Operation: Day Zero' limited-time launch event on Friday (22 March) to give players the chance to earn a trove of community-wide and individual rewards as an action-packed welcome to the game.

Operation: Day Zero revolves around a total of six contested zones — five for Verdansk and one encompassing the entirety of Rebirth Island — where players can earn Event Points (EP) that will go towards unlocking a variety of in-game rewards.

EP can be earned by completing certain Event Actions within the contested zones. These Event Actions include opening a Supply Box or Day Zero Supply Drop, eliminating an enemy player, completing a Contract, using a Killstreak, landing a headshot, or purchasing items from Buy Stations.

The EP players earn tracks toward individual rewards and will be added to the total community EP score to unlock Day Zero zones. Once players have collectively accumulated the required Community EP displayed in-game, then the zone will be considered as cleared.

EP can even be earned by eliminating other players while warming up for Battle Royale matches in Multiplayer mode, though it will of course be a lesser amount compared to eliminations in the matches themselves.

The individual rewards players can earn during Operation: Day Zero include an Operator skin, weapon blueprints, and a variety of cosmetic items. Here's the full list of individual rewards in Operation: Day Zero:

  • “Crimson Blaze” Emblem

  • “Nightmare Rift” Calling Card

  • “Forsaken Past” Emblem

  • “Tearing Me Apart” Sticker

  • “Demon’s Claw” Combat Knife Weapon Blueprint

  • “Last Word” Charm

  • “Hell Scrapper” LTV Vehicle Skin

  • “Nightmare Inferno” Large Decal

  • “Crimson Prince” X12 Weapon Blueprint

  • “Vengeful Devil King” Large Decal

  • “Raging Blaze” M4 Weapon Blueprint

  • “Bloody Reaper” Ghost Operator

Meanwhile, the community-wide rewards — which include weapon blueprints and an Operator skin, among others — can be earned by all players once certain contested zones have been cleared during the event. Here's the full list of community-wide rewards in Operation: Day Zero:

  • Gilded Devil King” Large Decal: Clear Zone 1

  • “Scorched Beginnings” Animated Calling Card: Clear Zone 2

  • “Golden Blaze” Emblem: Clear Zone 3

  • “Golden Flame” X12 Weapon Blueprint: Clear Zone 4

  • “Heavy Thunder” M4 Weapon Blueprint: Clear Zone 5

  • “Golden Phantom” Ghost Operator Skin: Clear Zone 6

Individual rewards will be received by players as soon as they are earned, while the community-wide rewards will only become accessible once its corresponding zone has been cleared.

As the event progresses and more Event Points are earned by players individually and collectively, the rewards will also get better.

All rewards can be claimed in the Event Store up until 3 April at 9:00 AM PT. While the rewards must be claimed within Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, once claimed they can also be used across Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Modern Warfare III.
