Canon Unveils Three New PIXMA Printers to Philippine Market

Canon Philippines gave consumers a fresh new lineup of PIXMA inkjet printers in an event held last Friday. The PIXMA iX6770, iP8770, and MG5570 printers carry the company's prestigious name while staying quite affordable.

We already got a preview of the PIXMA iP8770 a couple of weeks ago, and it looks just as good in person. It adds additional Gray ink to the standard CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) and the photo black ink set, effectively improving the transition of colors and reducing graininess in critical parts of images.

Accompanying the iP8770 were the PIXMA iX6770, which is a heavy-duty inkjet business printer with individual ink tanks, and the MG5770, an all-in-one printer that comes with Cloud Printing Solutions and the ChromaLife100+ system for incredible printing with ease.

The media in attendance was also treated to the fine works of Canon endorsers and renowned photographers Jun Miranda, Jo Avila, and Per-Andre Hoffmann. Canon, a world leader in digital imaging solutions, unveiled three new printers in its PIXMA range: the PIXMA iX6770 and iP8770 A3+ single-function printers and the MG5570 A4 Office All-In-One printer.

Canon PIXMA iX6770: Get Your Ideas Noticed

The PIXMA iX6770 is a heavy duty inkjet business printer that is able to print everything from 4" x 6" mailers to 11" x 17" spreadsheets - even big 13" x 19" presentation charts, making it easy for you to present ideas and complicated data in high detail. This printer is also designed to make color replacement economical as it comes with individual ink tanks, allowing one to replace only what needs to be replaced.

Canon PIXMA iP8770: Excellent Monochrome Prints

In an increasingly mobile world, Canon answers a growing mobile printing need with the PIXMA Printing Solutions app which offers one-stop printing and scanning of photos and documents straight from mobile devices based on the Apple iOS and Android OS interfaces. The easy-to-use app allows users to access the printer Remote User interface (Remote UI) so that one can check ink cartridge model codes, remaining ink levels in the printer and initiate maintenance functions such as printhead alignment and cleaning.

The latest PIXMA wireless printers can access the new Cableless Setup solution which is integrated into the app. This allows for secure setup in wireless environments. Say goodbye to installing utility programs on host PCs.
