CapitaLand opens Singapore's only Olympic-size ice skating rink
CapitaLand, in partnership with the Singapore Sports Council, officially opened its non-profit sports facility — an Olympic-size ice skating rink at JCube mall (pictured) in Jurong East Central.
"With the only Olympic-size ice rink and rink-side dining in Singapore, it offers a unique experience among malls in Singapore. The rink is the focal point of the mall and tenants also benefit from the buzz of activities at the ice rink," said a spokesman for CapitaLand.
Measuring 60 m by 30 m with a 460-seat gallery, the new amenity aims to reach out to the whole community through a wide range of programmes such as high-level competitive skating events.
The charge at the rink is S$21.50 for two hours, inclusive of skates rental, socks and gloves. It opens from 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM on Mondays to Thursdays and closes at 11:45 PM on weekends and public holidays.
