Wakey, wakey Upper East Siders—Chace Crawford just revealed some major tea from his days on the hit show Gossip Girl. As it turns out, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley weren't the only cast members to date off-screen. Speaking with Alex Cooper on the June 12 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Crawford confirmed that he hooked up with one of the actors on the program offscreen.

"I would say those things are inevitable," Crawford—who played Nate "Golden Boy" Archibald on the show—said after admitting to sharing more than lines with a co-star. "When you're in your 20s... the thing is you're on these things—people probably think it's these sexy scenes or whatever, that's like the worst part of it, with 60 people watching. It's the downtime. You're doing this show, you're on set for like 12-14 hours a day and usually there's some pretty interesting people from all walks of life".

As for the lucky person that Crawford hooked up with, that's a secret he'll never tell—in the interview, he explained that the person wasn't any of the main or regularly recurring women in the cast, which included Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf), Lively (Serena Van Der Woodsen), Jessica Szohr (Vanessa Abrams) and Michelle Trachtenberg (Georgina Sparks).

"There's a lot of actors and people coming onto the show, over the years," he explained. "And I was fortunate enough to have in the city a really good friend group. And everyone else has their little friend group. So you meet people in that wider circle, it's not just that tiny little circle. There's a lot of people involved. But again, it was like our college experience."

Secrets didn't only exist on the set of Gossip Girl, either. When asked if he helped keep any co-star relationships a secret, The Boys star replied, "Oh yeah, absolutely."

Off screen, Meester dated Sebastian Stan (Carter Baizen), Szohr dated Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass) and Lively dated Badgley (Dan Humphrey), while Crawford briefly dated Carrie Underwood while the show was filming from 2007 to 2008. Crawford and Underwood broke up over text, but there was no bad blood between them.

“It was completely mutual,” Underwood said at the time. “We broke up over text so … it’s like ‘peace out.’ It just didn’t work. We both knew it didn’t work and [had] no hard feelings at all whatsoever.”
