Channing Tatum to produce cop spoof series
Actor Channing Tatum will produce "Iron Fisting," a Romanian cop show for A24, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The "Miami Vice"-inspired action-comedy is set in the 1980s, and follows a pair of cops seeking to fight against capitalism. To replicate a true Romanian series, the program will be dubbed in English.
Brian Gatewood and Alex Tanaka will write the series and executive produce, along with Rhys Thomas. Actors have yet to be cast and the series awaits a network to sign on as well.
Tatum recently featured in films "Hail, Caesar" (2016), "The Hateful Eight" (2015) and played Jenko in "21 Jump Street" (2012) and "22 Jump Street" (2014).
