Choi Hyo-jong pokes fun at idol groups

2 Nov – Idol groups' fans may not be happy with this, but for the rest of the world that didn't jump on the idol bandwagon, they may find it hilarious. Choi Hyo-jong of KBS' "Gag Concert" wittily revealed the simple method for one to debut as an idol singer.

On the 30 October episode of the comedy show, Choi made fun of idol singers by saying, "It's easy to become an idol singer. You just have to sign a seven to eight year contract. If you think that's too long a period, don't worry. It doesn't include the time spent as a trainee, which also doesn't promise you will be successful."

"You only have to practice singing for thirty minutes. If you think thirty minutes is too short, don't worry. There are other people practising in the training room next to yours."

"You'll debut together with 10 other people who look like you. If you think you're lacking in the vocal department, don't worry. The company will add those people who were practising in the room next to yours. If you can't stick to your diet, don't be disappointed. They'll add people who have good figures."

"If you can't do anything relevant, just go on (the show) "Happy Together" and make people laugh a little. If you can't do even that, just wear nice clothes at the airport. If that's impossible as well, wear a hat and be caught at a park with a male idol. Your name will pop up in the search engines right away."
