Chopard to unveil sustainably sourced perfume line

Chopard has announced its return to the the fragrance market, with plans to launch a range of scents containing sustainable ingredients.

As WWD reports, the Swiss-based luxury watch, jewellery and accessories company revealed today that it will introduce four unisex perfumes, with each of the scents based around a fair trade ingredient.

The perfumes — Néroli, Vétiver, Magnolia and Vanille — have been developed in collaboration with Firmenich and master perfumers Alberto Morillas and Nathalie Lorson.

A special edition of the Vétiver and Magnolia perfumes, dubbed "Avant-Première" and featuring a golden palm curling around the cap of the bottles, was presented at the event.

The Chopard sustainable line of perfumes are slated for an initial debut via Russian luxury department store Tsum on May 29, followed by a worldwide rollout to select retailers.
