Mobile virtual network operator Circles.Life will be offering the latest Apple iPhone models for $0 upfront.

Instead of paying for the phone immediately, Circles.Life is offering consumers the option of paying for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X through instalments of up to 24 months, the operator said in a statement on Thursday (14 September).

The 64GB iPhone X will be available from S$68.67 per month for 24 months, while a 64GB iPhone 8 and a 64GB iPhone 8 Plus will be available from S$47.83 and S$54.50 per month.

Those interested to take up the offer will have to pay for it through their Visa or MasterCard credit cards with one of the three banks that are in partnership with Circles.Life – DBS, POSB or UOB. No mobile subscription is tied to the purchase of the phone and those interested can register their interest on the Circles.Life website.

Launched on 12 September, the iPhone X features an all-glass body, no home button and Face ID, a new function which scans its owner’s face to unlock the phone.

Singapore’s three telcos – Singtel, M1 and Starhub, have also opened registration of interests for the new handsets on their respective websites.

The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be available for pre-order on the Apple store from 15 Sept at 3.01pm. Prices start from S$1,148 and S$1,308 respectively. The iPhone X will be available for pre-order on the Apple store from 27 October at 3.01pm, with prices starting from S$1,648.
