Cocaine dealing farmer's wife on run for a year
A cocaine kingpin and farmer's wife has been ordered to pay back £26,000 despite having been on the run for almost a year.
Lynne Leyson fled and was sentenced to nine years in jail in her absence.
A mugshot of the 52-year-old has now been issued to all police forces along with a fake name she may be going by - she is also known as Annelyn Caldicot.
Other members of the Leyson family were locked up last year for dealing cocaine and cannabis.
They used guns, knives and dobermans to threaten villagers suspicious of goings on at remote Pibwr Farm, in Carmarthen.
Leyson's husband Stephen, 55, and his son Samson, 22, were jailed for a total 17 years at Swansea Crown Court last July after police raided the farm.
All three were found guilty of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and conspiracy to supply Class B drugs.
Lynne Leyson was the godmother of the criminal family, which supplied dealers with multiple kilos of cocaine and cannabis from their smallholding.
In a proceeds of crime hearing, Swansea Crown Court was told police targeted the farm in the early hours of 27 October, 2021.
They recovered more than £60,000 of cocaine, £15,615 of cannabis, a 9mm semi-automatic handgun and more than £17,000 in cash - which it was claimed was from a house sale.
The raid also led officers to two Pembrokeshire dealers selling drugs for the family, one going by the nickname Mr Pickles.
Ieuan Rees, prosecuting, said Stephen and Lynne Leyson benefited from their criminal lifestyle to the tune of £77,967.
Investigators found Stephen Leyson had £33,147 available assets and Lynne £26,442.
Samson Leyson, the court heard, benefited by £69,795. Assets including a £9,550 TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch were found.
Judge Catherine Richards made confiscation orders for the available sums for the three Leysons.
They were given three months to pay or face additional jail time.
Judge Richards said she was "quite sure" Lynne Leyson would be brought to justice "at some point".
The court heard husband and wife Stephen and Lynne Leyson denied any wrongdoing when questioned.
Lynne Leyson was found guilty by a jury of conspiracy to supply cocaine, conspiracy to supply cannabis, and possessing criminal property.
A bench warrant was issued when she previously failed to turn up to court.
A Crimestoppers appeal said inquiries had been conducted at addresses Lynne Leyson was believed likely to frequent in Carmarthen and Swansea.
