Coldplay cancels Latin America leg of tour

British soft rock band Coldplay has just announced the cancelation of their Latin American tour.

The stadium-filling radio-friendly outfit, who released their latest album Mylo Xyloto in October 2011, announced the cancellation of the Latin American leg of their current tour in a multilingual post on their website Coldplay.com on November 16.

The band is due to play to venues in Sydney over the weekend of November 16, 17 before moving on to Brisbane on November 21 and then opening a run of US shows beginning December 29 in Uncasville, Connecticut.
