Coronation Street's Toyah to be blackmailed by Rowan

Coronation Street's Toyah Battersby is horrified next week as evil Rowan Cunliffe blackmails her.
Toyah is alarmed when she realises that Rowan knows she has betrayed her sister Leanne by giving into temptation with Nick Tilsley.
Next week, an emotional day for Toyah arrives as she attends the funeral of her baby daughter Rose.
Leanne claims that she's paying for the service out of her savings. However, Toyah later finds out that Leanne doesn't have any savings left and Rowan is the one who paid.

Toyah is sickened that Rowan would meddle in something so personal. She warns that she'll do everything she can to expose his corrupt nature, leaving the villain shaken.
Meanwhile, Leanne makes no apologies for her role in the situation. After clashing with her family once again, she heads off for another "upload session" with Rowan.
Nick is left to comfort Toyah and they kiss passionately out in public. They're unaware that a man is secretly watching them from the derelict builder's yard.
Toyah and Nick end up sleeping together back at the flat, but they later agree that it can never happen again and they need to stay out of each other's way from now on.

Later in the week, Rowan confronts Toyah at the Bistro and hands her a Non-Disclosure Agreement on behalf of The Institute.
Rowan suggests that Toyah should sign it if she doesn't want Leanne to find out about her passion with Nick.
Toyah refuses to be blackmailed and vows to come clean herself, but Rowan smugly points out that the truth would destroy Leanne.
Knowing exactly how to rattle Toyah, ruthless Rowan vows to be there to pick up the pieces for Leanne once the news is out. Will Toyah go ahead and tell her sister everything?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Tuesday, June 18 and Wednesday, June 19.
