Cyclist dies after being hit by car

A cyclist has died after being hit by a car in Dudley.

The 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the crash on Duncan Edwards Way at about 22:00 BST on Sunday.

On Friday evening, West Midlands Police confirmed the cyclist had since died.

Three men were arrested and later bailed, while police inquiries continue.

It is understood the crash involved a blue BMW 3 Series which was recovered a short time later.

Police are appealing for anyone with information, particularly dashcam footage, to get in touch.
