Watch: Dani Dyer's family "relieved" after Sammy Kimmence split
Dani Dyer has revealed she isn't friends with any of her ex-boyfriends, in the wake of her split from Sammy Kimmence.
The former Love Island contestant said on the podcast Sorted With the Dyers – which she hosts with father Danny Dyer – that she is "tied together by blood" with Kimmence because they share a child.
"You are never really friends with your ex-boyfriend. It's a little bit different in my situation, like obviously, I will always have a relationship with Santi's dad," she said.
The 25-year-old added: "It's very different when you have children. You're tied together by blood and you're always going to have a relationship there, which is different, but still there's a line."
Danny Dyer agreed with his daughter, saying people who are still friends with their exes create a "big flag that's red that's waving".
Dani said: "You've split up for a reason and you're never actually moving on. Why would you still necessarily want that connection and still wonder what they're doing?
"There's obviously still something there and they just don't want to let each other go."
Dyer has recently confirmed she is in a relationship with West Ham footballer Jarrod Bowen, after weeks of rumours about her and the 24-year-old Premier League star.
She told The Sun that the relationship is "so early days", but that signs are good and her West Ham fan father approves of Bowen.
Dyer added: "Jarrod is a lovely guy and we’re enjoying getting to know each other.
“But Santi will always be my main priority, he will always come first. I am concentrating on being a mum and, beyond that, whatever happens, happens.”
Dyer said she has "definitely grown up a lot" since becoming a mum, particularly since she has had to deal with the challenges of being a single mother.
"I feel different because I want to be more headstrong and do the right thing for my baby," she said.
