Dia & Co’s new initiative offers small plus-size businesses an online boutique space

As the pandemic carries on, small businesses have been shutting down left and right as a result. However, the new Dia Holiday Market by Dia & Co is offering a helping hand in time for the holidays.

Dia & Co is the brainchild of founder Nadia Boujarwah. The brand specifically targets sizes 14–32 offering style options to shoppers with varying body types. Recently, the brand found that over 30 percent of small brick-and-mortar retailers that serve plus sizes are facing a shutdown. In an attempt to help out, Boujarwah is rounding up her team to launch the Dia Holiday Market online platform.

“There’s never been a time where it’s been more critical for women to support women than this moment,” Boujarwah told Forbes about the program.

The platform seeks to offer these smaller, plus-size-focused brands a digital platform to host their business and sell their products. Not to mention, it’s free for businesses who sign up from Oct. 23–30. Those plucked to join the Dia Holiday Market will have access to Dia & Co’s marketing resources and get visibility throughout the brand’s online community.

In the meantime, you can sign up for your own Dia & Co styled box curated by you and the brand’s style professionals. The official launch of the Dia Holiday Market is Nov. 17. So, if you’re dedicated to shopping small for bigger sizes this will be your go-to.
