Diane von Furstenburg's Life in Pictures
A documentary about the legacy of Diane von Furstenberg is finally here. Diane von Furstenberg: Woman in Charge, co-directed by two-time Academy Award-winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Trish Dalton, follows the trailblazing Belgian designer's rise to prominence as she celebrates the 50th anniversary of her multi-million-dollar eponymous fashion empire. The tell-all touches upon her life as the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, her relationship with Prince Egon von Furstenberg, and how she forged her own path in a in a male-dominated industry.
