Disgraced former S.Africa police chief Selebi dies - TV

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - Former South African police commissioner Jackie Selebi, who was released on medical parole after serving a brief portion of his jail term after he was convicted for corruption has died, a local television reported on Friday. "The ANC has confirmed that Selebi died at a Pretoria hospital," local television station ENCA said, referring to the ruling African National Congress party.
