"Divergent" marathon at GV
5 Mar – Fans of the "Divergent" movies series are in for a treat as Golden Village will be hosting a back-to-back screening of last year's hit blockbuster "Divergent" as well as its upcoming sequel, "The Divergent Series: Insurgent".
The "Divergent" Marathon will take place for one day only, on 18 March 2015.
Tickets are priced at SGD22 for members and SGD25 for the public. Each ticket comes with 1 regular popcorn and 1 regular Coke.
At GV Jurong Point, GV Plaza, GV Yishun and GV Katong, the marathon kicks off from 7pm onward with the screening of "Divergent". The sequel's screening will follow at 9.45pm. At GV Bishan, the marathon is set to start at an earlier time. At 4pm, "Divergent" will start playing and the sequel will follow at 6.45pm.
"The Divergent Series: Insurgent" follows Tris and Four, who are now fugitives on the run, hunted by Jeanine, the leader of the power-hungry Erudite elite. Racing against time, they must find out what Tris' family sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them.
The "Divergent" sequel enters cinemas on 19 March 2015.
