RuPaul's Drag Race Germany spoilers follow.

The RuPaul's Drag Race wider franchise has just made history with the season 1 finale of Drag Race Germany.

Pandora Nox was crowned the first winner of the German series, but that's not the groundbreaking aspect of it. Pandora is actually the first cis woman to win a season of Drag Race anywhere in the world.

During her crowning speech, Pandora said: "It's really, extremely overwhelming because I'm not just the first winner of Drag Race Germany, but also the first cis woman."

"To everybody out there, I think this is the best example that even if something seems impossible, you can still dream, and dreams sometimes do come true," she added in a confessional. "So go for it. Thank you."

Other cis women have competed in Drag Race franchises before, including Victoria Scone from Drag Race UK series 3 and Canada vs the World, as well as Clover Bish from Drag Race España. Victoria made it to the final on her second attempt.

The Drag Race franchise is getting more diverse, but there are still calls for drag kings to compete on one of the flagship versions fronted by RuPaul.

In an exclusive chat with Digital Spy, Michelle Visage agreed with the demand, and stated: "I would love it, I would love it! Drag is for everybody, fingers crossed, let's do it!"

Victoria has also been one of the most vocal in calling for wider representation.

"Diversity is just always going to be a plus in every sense," she previously told us here at Digital Spy.

"It brings variety to performance as well as the fact that everyone deserves a seat at the table... I just don't know why it's taken so long at this point to be honest."

Drag Race Germany and other spin-offs are available on WOW Presents Plus. Drag Race UK is currently airing on Thursday nights at 9pm on BBC Three and iPlayer.
