Seriously, have you tried to use a hula hoop lately? I guarantee that your 30- 40- 50- or 60-something-year-old self is not nearly as capable of getting one of those things to stay up around your waist as your 10-year-old self could. That's because it's a workout to keep that thing up above your hips and balanced, wrapping around your middle like a pendulum.
