Eamonn Walker is leaving “Chicago Fire”

Walker will no longer be a series regular after season 12.

Chicago Fire is losing another series regular.

Entertainment Weekly has learned that Eamonn Walker, who has played Wallace Boden since the show's beginning, is exiting the show as a series regular.

However, it isn't time to say goodbye just yet. There are three episodes left in the show's twelfth season, and sources tell EW that Boden will appear before it's over. (The finale, titled "Never Say Goodbye," airs May 22.) Additionally, it isn't a permanent goodbye. Although Walker will no longer be a series regular, he could appear in future seasons, as we've seen with previous exits like Jesse Spencer.

Walker is the latest exit from the One Chicago family. This season saw Kara Killmer exit the show back in February when her character, Sylvie Brett, married Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) and moved to Oregon. Meanwhile, Chicago P.D. is gearing up to say goodbye to Tracy Spiridakos, who has played Detective Hailey Upton Halstead since season 4. Spiridakos is expected to exit at the end of the series' current season.

Deadline was first to report the news.

Chicago Fire airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
