New EC Treasure Crest Offers More Home Choices In The Suburbs

A new Singapore executive condominium (EC) in Anchorvale Crescent called Treasure Crest will be opened for e-applications from 1 July to 10 July with an average price range of $735 to $755 per square foot (psf). Its official bookings will take place on 16 July 2016.

The 99-year leasehold development will be the fifth EC to be launched in suburban areas this year following four others that were launched in the past few months - Wandervale located in Choa Chu Kang, Parc Life and The Visionaire in Sembawang, and Northwave in Woodlands.

The 504-unit EC houses a total of eight 15-storey tower blocks, comprising 84 three-bedroom units, 364 premium three-bedders and 56 four-bedroom units. These units range in sizes from 958 to 1,345 sq ft.

Its expected success? Treasure Crest is located near Sengkang MRT, which could be a draw for homebuyers given the recent hot demand for new private homes located near MRT stations. Future residents of Treasure Crest can look forward to shopping and lifestyle amenities nearby including Compass One, Anchorvale Community Club and Sengkang Polyclinic. It is also within a kilometre's range from good schools like Nan Chiau Primary School, Nan Chiau High School and CHIJ St Joseph's Convent.

The other two ECs within the same area, Bellewaters and The Vales, received good demand and were among the best-selling EC projects for the month of May. Treasure Crest's competitive pricing also looks set to attract interest from potential homebuyers in the area. For example, a 1,335 sq ft unit at Bellewaters and a 1,270 sq ft unit at The Vales cost $788 psf and $737 psf respectively, while the biggest unit at Treasure Crest at 1,345 sq ft, cost a maximum of $755 psf.

Future homebuyers, whether they're first timers or upgraders from HDB, will be spoilt for choice in the competitive EC market with attractive pricing and location. Most of the ECs launched earlier - Wandervale, The Visionaire and Parc Life, priced around an average of $770 psf - are also located close to MRT stations. There are close to 1,200 units still open for sale from these ECs.
