Spielberg's long-running collaborator David Koepp will pen the script, with Kristie Macosko Krieger on board to produce.

News of Blunt's latest film role follows the announcement of her reunion with Jungle Cruise co-star Dwayne Johnson.

According to Variety, Blunt will star as Kerr's wife Dawn Staples, who "struggles to find her place within Mark's chaotic and contradictory world".
