Etta Ng has no plan to join showbiz
22 Nov - Although she has already finished high school, Etta Ng recently revealed that she has no plans to join the entertainment industry.
As reported on Mingpao, the 17-year-old love child of Jackie Chan and former Miss Asia Elaine Ng instead shared that she plans to further her studies at a foreign university, majoring in either Psychology or Philosophy.
"I would also like to work part-time while studying. I think it would be practical," she said.
When asked if she would eventually join showbiz, Etta said that she had never thought about it before.
"But if there is such an opportunity, I will discuss it with my mum first," she said. "I've shot a short film before, but not as an actor. I think it will be likely for me to work behind the scenes instead."
She also admitted that her relationship with mother Elaine has been much better since the previous conflict between them, and that her birthday wish was for everybody, especially her mother, to be happy.
