Fans of Linkin Park, you've waited long enough! In anticipation of the upcoming release of the much-anticipated action adventure flick 'Abrahan Lincoln: Vampire Hunter', acclaimed director Timur Bekmambetov has created a special music trailer featuring the multi-platinum alternative rock band, and guess what; you get to have an exclusive first look:
Launched exclusively for Yahoo! Malaysia on Tuesday (19.06.2012) morning, the special clip features the band performing their new single titled "Powerless", accompanied by previously unseen footages from the much-anticipated vampire flick. "Powerless", off the band's forthcoming album 'Living Things', will be featured in the end credits of 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter'.
Director Bekmambetov (of 'Wanted' fame) filmed the three-minute clip in Berlin recently, and he has nothing but praises for the band.
Bekmambetov said: “Linkin Park are extraordinary musical artists who combine genres to create their own sound. It only seems fitting for us to collaborate with them on this unique film. It was a privilege to work with them on this music trailer.”
Linkin Park's Joe Hahn added: "Timur showed us the film and we loved it and felt we had a song that would be a great fit with his movie. We were delighted that Timur came to Berlin to shoot us performing it so he could mash it up with film footage in a really unique way.”
