During the opening celebration, Fann shared that she enjoys using the British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask (S$35) at night to rejuvenate her skin after a day of filming. Thereafter, she uses the Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask (S$35) for her T-Zone, and that it is especially useful in removing the excess oil and helps to brighten her skin.

“In fact, I use the Chinese Ginseng mask like a scrub in the morning, putting a small amount on my face, and then washing it away when I shower a while later.”

Sitting down for a quick interview with Yahoo Lifestyle Singapore, Fann let us in on more of her secrets when it comes to maintaining healthy skin: Protection against the harmful UVA and UVB rays.

“My son enjoys being in the nature, and we all know that the UV rays are really damaging. Therefore, I’ll always be sure to have the Skin Defense Multi-Protection Face Mist SPF45 with me. It is easy to reapply with the spray and I have it with me even when I am filming.”

With Earth Week coming up, we quiz Fann on her eco-friendliness.

“Recycle bags! I cut down on plastic use by making sure that I’ve my recycle bags with me while I shop. I also make sure that when Zed (her son) or Christopher (her husband) are brushing their teeth, the tap is not running, and that the shower head is turned off when we are not using it.”

With a hectic filming schedule, Fann also tried to do her part in saving the Earth while on set. “Because I drink a lot of water while I am filming, we usually buy and keep bottles of mineral water on the set. I’ve recently bought a 1.5litre bottle so that I can bring my own water onto set, and cut down on the use of one-time plastic bottles.” Way to go, Fann!

Last but not least, with Mother’s Day coming up in May, is she expecting Christopher to plan something grand for her?

“We’d be celebrating my mom’s birthday along with Mother’s Day as her birthday falls in May. But who knows? Maybe Zed, Christopher, and I will be going for our own dinner to celebrate me!”
