Ford GT supercar with just 10 miles on the clock is up for sale
It is noisy, inefficient, awkward to drive and it has never been serviced but this pristine Ford GT is likely to have petrolheads in a frenzy when it goes on sale at the RM Sotheby's Fort Lauderdale auction next year.
Why? Because it has a mere 10.8 miles on the clock and is quite possibly one of the cleanest examples of this 2006 supercar to go under the hammer in many, many years.

According to Ford, the pristine white paintjob is pretty rare among the first generation GTs, with just 726 of the 4,033 examples decked out in this colour.
Better still, the immaculate example features three of the four optional extras that were available at the time, including the all-important 'go faster' stripes, BBS forged alloy wheels and red brake calipers.
The car is expected to fetch between $300,000-350,000, which roughly translates to between £225,000-£260,000, but that money secures a sonorous 5.4-litre supercharged V8 that develops a heady 550bhp and 500lb ft of torque.
It is enough to see the Ford GT sprint from 0-60mph in around three seconds and on to a top speed of 200mph. Not bad for an 11-year old machine.
Although buyers beware, Jeremy Clarkson famously owned a Ford GT after admitting it was his childhood dream to have a GT40 in his garage.
Unfortunately, it was too wide for Hammersmith Bridge, meaning Clarkson had to hold up traffic while he reversed, the immobiliser regularly failed and the engine warning light required attention.
In fact, the motor mouth motoring journalist admitted that he eventually asked Ford for his money back.
