Former Turner Broadcasting President David Levy Joins ONE Championship

In its quest to continue building the greatest sports platform in the world, ONE Championship has added a key player in the sports industry to its Board of Directors.

David Levy, a former Turner Broadcasting President and the current Chairman of Genius Sports Group, has officially joined ONE’s Board.

The Board also includes ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong, ONE Vice Chairman Saurabh Mittal, ONE Director Hua Fung Teh, and ONE Director Shailendra Singh.

Levy is a media and sports executive who will now serve as Lead Director at ONE and help expand the company’s operations with regard to live events, content platforms, and reach in the United States and other key international markets.

“David is an industry pioneer who helped redefine how millions of people enjoy sports and entertainment programming,” Sityodtong said.

“He is the perfect addition to our Board with his proven track record of working with the largest sports leagues in the world, putting together innovative rights packages that create value for broadcast partners, corporate sponsors, athletes, and fans, and deep understanding of how to deliver engaging content across digital platforms to capture a younger, on-the-move generation.

“We look forward to working with David as we accelerate our strategy to bring our popular martial arts and gaming content to the U.S. and other international markets.”

During his 30-year tenure at Turner, Levy presided over the company for six years and managed 6,000-plus employees. He also expanded Turner Sports’ media rights with NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship (March Madness), NBA, MLB, and the PGA Tour. Moreover, Levy was responsible for $9 billion in revenues.

Upon joining ONE, Levy expressed his excitement about being able to help The Home Of Martial Arts continue its mission of igniting the world with hope, strength, dreams, and inspiration through real-life martial arts superheroes.

“ONE has built a remarkable content platform around its martial arts and esports businesses that is captivating global audiences, especially younger, tech-savvy viewers and fans,” Levy said.
