Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, owner of Sheraton, announced the opening of its first Four Points hotel in Kuta, Bali, last week.

Marking the company's seventh property on the island, the Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta, is strategically located on Jl. Benesari Banjar Pengabetan and boasts 185 contemporary rooms overlooking the hotel's lagoon and junior pool.

With sizes ranging from 28 to 55 square meters, each room is spacious enough to provide guests a very comfortable stay with facilities including a 40-inch LCD television, high-speed wireless Internet, a plush mattress and cozy duvet. Guests can also enjoy full-service dining at The Eatery restaurant, a 24-hour fitness center and kids club and a chance to sample authentic local beers as part of the hotel’s signature Best Brews program.

“I really am excited to welcome our first guests on to this property and give them the extraordinary experience of our facilities and our wide variety of international standard restaurants,” said the hotel's general manager Masri in a recent press release.

“With this significant opening, we are confident that Four Points will continue to reinvent travel across the globe with its emphasis on stylish comfort and genuine service at honest value," added Starwood global brand leader Brian McGuinness.

Four Points is just a walk away from the city's key attractions such as Kuta Beach, Legian Street, Beachwalk Shopping Mall and traditional handicraft markets. Currently it is offering a special opening room rate starting from US$89 per night until Dec. 28.
