Fox Television Stations Ups John Brauer To SVP Of Insights And Media Measurement

Fox Television Stations has promoted John Brauer to SVP of Insights and Media Measurement.

Reporting to Patrick Paolini, EVP of Ad Sales for the Fox Corp. station division, Brauer will manage all aspects of its media data, insights and measurement across all divisions, with a focus on ad sales. His responsibilities will include day-to-day measurement needs, strategic direction using data and analytics as well as analyzing and implementing emerging audience measurements.

“John is a veteran of multiplatform data analytics with a commitment to utilizing the most advanced technologies to inform critical business decisions,” Paolini said in a press release. “With his innovative approach, FTS will shape the future of television measurement and deliver greater return on investments and an unparalleled value to our advertisers and viewers.”

During his nearly 20 years in media and advertising technology, Brauer has developed expertise in media measurement, advanced analytics, audience, and ad innovation. Prior to his Fox tenure, he was VP, Insights and Analytics, for Effectv, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. He also has held exec posts at Amazon and NBCUniversal and worked at Vevo, Nielsen and JW Player.

The Fox Television Stations portfolio includes 29 owned-and-operated stations in top markets, 18 of which are Fox network affiliates. With live sports, local news and syndication drawing steady tune-in, this year’s presidential race will also deliver a significant boost to all TV station owners, among them Fox.
