France, Australia condemn death penalty as Indonesia executions loom: Paris

French President Francois Hollande and his Australian counterpart Tony Abbott reiterated their opposition to the death penalty "in all cases" on Monday as executions loom in Indonesia for three of their citizens. "France and Australia share the same attachment to human rights and condemn the death penalty in all places and all circumstances," the French presidency said in a statement after a meeting between the two leaders.
