A freehold, two-storey terrace house located at 141 Neil Road has been put up for sale by Knight Frank Singapore for S$4.8 million, via Expression of Interest (EOI).

The property sits on a land area of around 3,193 sq ft with a gross floor area of about 4,813 sq ft, according to a Knight Frank’s news release.

Located within the Blair Plain Conservation Area, the house could be accessed via the upcoming Cantonment MRT station along the Circle Line and the Outram Park MRT station along the East-West Line.

It is sold with vacant possession and is part of a compact cluster of two- and three-storey shophouses and residential terrace houses, designed across the Late, Transitional, Early Shophouse and Art Deco Styles.

“Fully refurbished heritage terrace houses in the Cairnhill vicinity are currently calling for more than S$10 million per building, depending on the land and floor areas. At nearby Blair Road, refurbished heritage houses with a land size of approximately 1,500 sq ft are asking for S$5.5 million,” said Mary Sai, Knight Frank Singapore executive director of investment and capital markets.

“There are buyers who like to acquire conservation houses in their original condition as they can be renovated into aesthetically pleasing dream homes, so long as they fall within URA’s conservation guidelines. Additionally, the Neil Road home is located only about 500 m away from the future Greater Southern Waterfront.”

The EOI exercise for the 141 Neil Road house ends on 13 November.
