Fruit Chan reschedules Macau shoot for "Made in Kowloon"

18 Jan - Fruit Chan recently revealed that his new movie, "Made in Kowloon" will continue its filming in Macau despite previous issue.

As reported on Mingpao News, the director made headlines last week when he and his team, including actor Kevin Cheng, was questioned by the Macau police after illegally filming at a restricted area.

"The progress of the movie is not affected. We'll just have to reschedule it," said Fruit, who was seen on the set of the movie in Ho Man Tin recently.

Nonetheless, Fruit stated that the scenes filmed at the restricted area will have to be removed from the movie after much discussion with the Macau authority.

"But the whole investigation has come to an end," he assured.

When asked if he would be careful in the future, Fruit said that it is natural for a movie director to want to shoot something that he or she deemed beautiful, although he will make sure to be more careful not to break the law in the future.
