Full list of newly-starred restaurants for Michelin Hiroshima

Japan has added another triple Michelin-starred restaurant to its culinary galaxy, giving the country another leading edge over closest rival France.

In the inaugural issue of the red guide’s Hiroshima edition, inspectors awarded Nakashima restaurant three stars for its seasonal, pristine dishes giving the country a total of 37 triple-garlanded addresses.

France has 27.

The latest guidebook expands Michelin’s coverage of Japan’s food scene which currently covers Tokyo, Yokohama, Shonan; Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Nara; and Hokkaido.

In total, five restaurants were awarded two stars and 24 addresses given their first star.
