NSF wanted by SAF who fled from police while injured arrested in Woodlands

An injured full-time national serviceman wanted by the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) who fled from police on Sunday (20 January) morning has been arrested.

The police said they conducted checks on two men at Block 365 Woodlands Avenue 1 at about 6.10am. During the checks, one of the men – who had fresh lacerations on his left thigh – suddenly fled from the location.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the 22-year-old man is an NSF who is wanted by the SAF for being absent without leave. He was subsequently arrested on Monday along Woodlands Circle.

Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.

A screengrab of a police lookout message posted on the ROADS.sg Facebook page described the suspect as being Indian, 1.75m tall and dressed in a black shirt, shorts and slippers.
