Undawn, the open-world zombie survival mobile game, will be launching on 29 June on the App Store, Google Play, and PC in select countries in Southeast Asia, publisher Garena announced on Monday (29 May).

Undawn will be available for players in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand.

In anticipation of Undawn's Southeast Asian release, Garena has also created a four-part live action series based on the game. The series will feature popular content creators SleepyGodzillas, Afiq Chii, and Aina XGaming as they try to escape Undawn's zombie hordes in real life.

The series' first two episodes featuring SleepyGodzillas and Afiq Chii have already premiered on the official Undawn Singapore & Malaysia YouTube channel. The remaining two episodes featuring Aina XGaming will be released in June.

Garena opened pre-registrations for Undawn in Southeast Asia earlier this month, with pre-registrations reaching over 7 million. Players who pre-registered can unlock a full catalogue of milestone rewards, including the permanent Raven Wings: Golden Dawn.

Pre-registrations for Undawn are still open here.

Undawn is an open-world zombie-plagued survival shooter, where players will fight for survival while scavenging for vital resources, navigating treacherous terrain, and battling against relentless zombie hordes.

First announced back in April 2021, the game combines both Player vs Player (PvP) and Player vs Environment (PvE) gameplay. Players will also be able to create a custom character that best fits their desired playstyles.

While the zombie hordes and other humans will be the primary threat for players, they also need to manage their vitals and physical conditions in a treacherous open world that also features dynamic weather and day-night cycles.

Undawn will soon be available to players in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand. The game will be available on mobile through the App Store and Google Play.
