Gigi Wong is happy her son has signed with ViuTV
16 Jul – Hong Kong TV personality Gigi Wong recently admitted that she is relieved that son Shaopin Tsui has now found a home in ViuTV.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who addressed previous rumours of Shaopin being frozen by TVB for refusing to sign a long-term contract, admitted that she felt sorry for her son at the time.
"But I often reminded him to be an actor with discipline, to never be late on set and to always be polite. I encourage him to be grounded, to start from the bottom and gain more experience," she said.
Now that Shaopin is a part of ViuTV, Gigi said that the actor is happy and has already filmed a few series with the broadcaster.
Asked if she would invite him on her own ViuTV cooking show, "Gigi's Pot of Love", the actress said that her son already has his own show.
"He is filming "Showman's Show" right now. Otherwise, I would have invited him here for support," she said.
